Punch Out at the Port

Doc Barron, a local professional fighter, donates his time to coach local youth with the Fidalgo Island Boxing Club. Barron will be on hand but won't be fighting in Saturday's Punch out at the Port.

Sanctioned Amateur Boxing is back in Anacortes after a 30 year hiatus. Saturday's event, Punch Out at the Port, kicks off at 2:00 pm and will feature nearly 20 amateur bouts. Tickets are $10 for adults at the door, $5 for kids. The Anacortes Boxing Club along with American Dream Real Estate has worked three years to bring this event to town. So, if you want to see live, sanctioned boxing, check out Punch Out at the Port, Sat. 2:00 pm at the Port Warehouse Building.

What: Live sanction boxing

Where: The Port Warehouse Building, at the end of Commercial Ave.
Why: Boxing is RAD! And the proceeds help support the Fidalgo Islands Boxing Club and other local youth activity centers.
